Here's a poster I made for an upcoming show for the Southpaw Players, a Grand Rapids funk/jam/hip-hop group. I happen to have been a part of this group, so when it was time to make it I went back and forth on concepts. Personal projects seem to always be the hardest to be really happy with, and I was wanting to stay away from the ho-hum black and orange and jack-o-lantern typical Halloween stuff. So I settled on kind of a comic style, pulp horror idea that wasn't real gory. We're a party band, not a metal band. Unfortunately the show had to be called off because of scheduling conflicts in the group, but I was very pleased with the poster.
